Terms & Conditions

Prices shown are applicable at the time of booking, are not valid in conjunction with any other offer.
Offers are subject to availability and are applicable for new bookings only, cancellation and re-booking is not permitted. Existing bookings made prior to the launch of any promotional offers may not be changed. Offers are subject to specific dates and cannot be used in conjunction with any other booking.

Child Policy
Children are classed as 3-16 years old and are accommodated in a room sharing with at least one adult and are charged £12.50 per night.
Infants under 3 years will be accommodated, where space allows free of charge.

Dog Policy
Well behaved dogs are welcome to stay in one of our 2 dog friendly rooms. A maximum of 2 dogs per room is allowed. A charge of £10 per night is made for dogs and is reflected in the 'Dog Friendly' room rate. Owners are expected to ensure their dogs remain on the floor and are not allowed on to beds and other furniture in rooms and other areas of the premises. Dogs are not permitted in the restaurant so any meals taken (including breakfast) will be in our bar/lounge area. If excessive cleaning is required then we reserve the right to make a charge. Dogs are not permitted in our Holiday Cottage.

Smoking:
The hotel buildings including public areas, bedrooms and cottages are non smoking. This includes E-Cigarettes. For guests that do not comply with our non smoking policy following departure, they will be charged either by invoice sent to the guest’s registered address or by a further charge to the guest’s credit card for deep cleaning and the dry cleaning of linens. There is a designated smoking area outside the building.

Service Charge
Any person/persons found to have occupied an extra bed without prior agreement with the hotel will be subject to a £25 service charge.

Zero Tolerance
The White Horse Farm Inn has a zero tolerance policy any abuse, whether physical or verbal to staff or customers. We reserve the right to refuse to serve or accommodate any customer who is behaving in such a manner towards a member of staff or another customer. Please be aware that customers behaving in an inappropriate or threatening manner may be evicted from the premises.

Behaviour
The White Horse Farm Inn reserves the right to refuse admittance, service or accommodation into the hotel or may remove a person who: while on the premises of the hotel acts in an obviously intoxicated or disorderly manner, destroys or threatens to destroy hotel property, or causes or threatens to cause a public disturbance; or refuses or is unable to pay for the accommodation or services.

Alcohol and illegal substances
Any person or persons found either possessing, using or distributing any illegal substances will be banned from this premises and reported to the police.
No alcohol may be brought into the hotel or hotel grounds by clients, their guests or representatives for consumption or sale on the premises without the express written consent of the hotel and for which a corkage charge may be made. Holiday Cottage customers are, of course, welcome to bring their own food & drinks including alcohol for their own consumption.

Soiling & Breakages
Please note that any soiling or breakages found following departure will be charged either by invoice sent to the guest’s registered address or by a further charge to the guest’s credit card after departure.

Comments and complaints
Any comments or complaints regarding your stay or our service should be made to the Duty Manager at the time of your visit so that the matter may be resolved immediately.

Liability
With the exception of death or personal injury cause by: the Hotel, its’ employees or agents, liability is limited to the price of the booking.
We do not accept liability for failure to meet any of our obligations where such failure is due to events beyond our reasonable control.
The hotel does not accept responsibility for damage to, or theft from or theft of vehicles parked on the premises.
Under the Hotel Proprietors Act 1956, an hotel proprietor may in certain circumstances be liable to make good any loss of or damage to a guest’s property even though it was not due to any fault of the proprietor or staff of the hotel.
This liability however—
(a)extends only to the property of guests who have engaged sleeping accommodation at the hotel;
(b)is limited to £50 for any one article and a total of £100 in the case of any one guest, except in the case of property which has been deposited, or offered for deposit, for safe custody;
(c)does not cover motor-cars or other vehicles of any kind or any property left in them, or horses or other live animals.
This notice does not constitute an admission either that the Act applies to this hotel or that liability there under attaches to the proprietor of this hotel in any particular case.

Data Protection
Upon making and confirming a reservation, the guest consents to the processing of their personal information. Data collated about any individual or company will be used primarily to fulfil any service the guest has requested from us, for example to make a booking. The second function would be for internal marketing purposes.
Under no circumstances do we give personal data to third parties. However, unless specifically stated not to then we,(the hotel) will use your data to send you further information from ourselves.

Website
The White Horse Farm Inn does not accept responsibility for any errors or omissions on our website. We reserve the right to cancel, amend or modify any details featured on the website without prior notice. This includes offers, features and availability. The hotel is not liable for any loss or damages that may be incurred through the use of any information taken from this website or any other website it is linked to.

Payment Policy

A deposit of 30% is required to secure all reservations. The remaining balance for the stay together with any pre-booked extra services is payable on arrival. Deposits are non refundable.

Residents guests may charge other on site purchases to their room account provided that a valid payment card has been pre-authorised at check in.

Payment is only accepted in £Sterling.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation charges are:

Bookings cancelled more than one month before arrival: Loss of deposit

Bookings cancelled between 1 month and 7 days before arrival 60% of stay price.

1-7 Days prior to arrival: 75% of stay price

Less than 24 hours prior to arrival: 90% of stay price.
