Swallows Eaves
Set in private grounds, Swallows Eaves is a wisteria - clad, boutique guest house, in the heart of the pretty village of Colyford. The property has landscaped gardens with an outside terrace where guests can relax in the sunshine, free private parking, including a disabled parking bay and Wi-Fi is free throughout the building.
Extended and refurbished at the start of 2012, Swallows Eaves has seven beautifully decorated ensuite guest bedrooms, rated into three categories. Each room benefits from a flat-screen digital TV and radio, free bathroom toiletries, hairdryer, alarm clock, hospitality tray with complimentary mineral water and biscuits. Our spacious ground floor Classic Twin guest room offers easy access accommodation for those who are disabled or have difficulty with stairs.
Breakfast can enjoy a West Country breakfast using the best locally sourced ingredients including free range farm eggs and traditional pork sausages from our nearby award winning butcher, as well as a full choice of cereals, Greek yoghurt, fresh fruits, juices, cereals and much more! A great start to your day.
In addition we have a specially built cycle cabin and secure storage, to welcome cyclists and walkers to this beautiful area. Swallows Eaves is situated in an Area of Outstanding Beauty, just 4 miles from the historic town of Lyme Regis and the famous Jurassic Coast. Swallows Eaves is wonderfully placed for exploring the surrounding countryside as well as visits to Exeter and the National Parks of Dartmoor and Exmoor.
We are close to the River Cottage Headquarters as well as a range of restaurants and pubs. Booking taxis well in advance is always recommended.
