Pets are not allowed, a $50 U.S. dollar cleaning fee will be charged, will also ask guests to vacate the property if this regulation is not met. Please verify the number of guests written on your reservation, if accompanied by more than stated in confirmation, extra guests admittance will be subject to availability due to maximum capacity of room (This includes minors). You may pay with debit, credit or cash (MXP or U.S. Dollars) at reception on day of check-in. A two day minimum stay is required during weekends (Friday or Saturday), except if the reservation is made on the same day of check in.

Check-In: 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. If your arrival is after regular hours please let us know. We reserve the right to hold the cost of one night after this time on your credit card to secure your reservation or cancel the reservation in case the credit card is not valid.

Check-Out: 12:00 P.M. If you wish to stay for a longer period of time, you must inform reception 3 hours before your departure is completed, authorization will be subject to availability. If guest does not vacate the room, we will be required to charge a late check fee or an additional night. It will also be applied equally in case the guest gives the key back and returns to the room to continue its use. Check-out at 12pm of the room will be mandatory if there is no availability for the day. If guest or guests are not in the room and have not check-out at noon, we will be obligated to remove all guests' belongings to reception.

No room cleaning service will be provided during your stay unless requested. Guests may not be in the room while cleaning procedure is in effect. Fresh sheets, towels and accessories such as toilet paper, shampoo and soap, will be provided in a sanitized bag upon request, as well as an empty bag so that all used items are placed inside. Guest may leave bag outside of door so that our maintenance personnel can remove it. We will be applying these measures, apologizing for the inconvenience caused, thanking you for your support and understanding.

There is an additional cost of $120.00 MXP for additional persons, including visitors, provided they do not exceed the capacity of the room. Visitors cannot exceed more than 2 people. Penalty for loss of key is $ 500 Mexican Pesos or US $ 30 dollars. Accommodation is free for two children less than 11 years accompanied by their parents as long as there is capacity to accommodate them. Children over 11 years old pay adult rate. Visitors may not stay overnight, but must cover the amount per visitor of $ 120.00 MXP per person without exceeding more than 2 visitors per room. Visiting hours end at 10pm. Damaged items in room like cups, plates towels, etc., will have to be paid for, prices may vary. We reserve the right to refuse admission and / or visitors to the hotel facilities.

In order to guarantee the respect of the rest of the guests and hotel staff, it is forbidden to hold celebrations or parties in the rooms, as well as playing musical instruments, in all rooms the acoustic volume must be moderate. Respecting also the nocturnal silence on the streets and in the garages between the hours of 10pm and 8am. Silence must be absolute in the exterior of the rooms, courtyards, etc. And / or in the streets. Smoking is prohibited in rooms except for outdoor areas. Use of any type of illegal drugs within the property is prohibited.

Cars must be parked in the parking spaces provided and will be solely used by the guests themselves who must register the vehicle at the time of check-in. It is forbidden to obstruct traffic and drive to speeds greater than 5MPH.

Quintas Papagayo will not be responsible for accidents or incidents to its guests or loss of values of any kind within its facilities, as well as for theft or total or partial damages caused to your vehicle; you are advised not to leave valuables at plain view. Every person staying at Hotel Quintas Papagayo, during their stay, is subject to these rules, as well as the internal regulations that are in each room, which are considered a contract of adhesion that must be met between the guest and the hotel.

Payment Policy

The guest must pay the day of Check-in 100% of their stay with debit, credit card (Visa, MasterCard, and Discover only) or cash (MXP or U.S. dlls. only). A reimbursable security deposit will be asked at day of Check-In retained to credit card or cash for $500 Mexican pesos (Rooms with no kitchen) or $1,000 Mexican pesos (Rooms with kitchen). This will serve as collateral for damages caused to the Hotel, if damages exceed the deposit, the guest will be obliged to cover the damage immediately. Deposit will be reimbursed the day of Check-out when returning the room key and parking permit and after the room is inspected, this also helps in returning forgotten items.

At day of check-in, if guest has not shown by 8pm, a hold for a one or two night stay will be made to guest's credit card to secure room; if credit card is not valid the reservation will be cancelled.

A $200 MXP extra charge will be made if kitchen utilities are left uncleaned.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made 0 to 3 days before the arrival date will be subject to a penalty of a maximum charge of one or two nights of your stay for each reserved room, this also applies if guest does not show.
