Promised Land Lodge
Promised land lodge is a traditional Zanzibarian lodge lying on a private ground of almost 2 hectares with tropical garden facing the sea. The south coast is still authentic,very clean and it is one of the few places in Zanzibar where you can have a peaceful beach with beautiful sea colors.
We have 8 bungalows with the view to the ocean,also a beach bar and restaurant where you can taste Zanzibar spice dishes.
We have a volley ball court,hammocks,beach beds and a fire place to watch the stars while drinking your cold drink.
Kizimkazi village has got much nature and activities to offer, you could swim with the dolphin,take a boat trip to one of the best island for snorkeling in Zanzibar or to the sand bank for a picnic day trip , ride a 20mins bike to the oldest east African mosque,Take a 30mins drive to the Jozani forest to see the rare species of red Columbus monkey or drive 1hr to Zanzibar town for a spice tour or a shopping day...
