Le Château d'Oz
Set at the foot of the Grand Rousses near Alpe d’Huez in the heart of the Oisans region and the French Alps, Le Château d’Oz is owned and run by Andy and Gill.
We live here all year round, know the area well, and welcome sharing our passion for the region with new and returning guests on holiday.
We have spacious apartments and suites, 35m²/375 sq ft minimum, all with en-suite bathroom and toilet.
Breakfast and evening meals are available to order when self catering.
In Winter a Ski Holiday rate is available which includes half-board catering (dinner 6 nights).

Quotes by email
Prices quoted for holidays are good for 7 days. After this time prices may change. A quote does not mean that availability is guaranteed. All availability is “live” on the internet and all prices are clearly displayed.
Payment terms (see Cancellation Policy for extra COVID-19 details)
A 25€ deposit is needed to secure your bookings in 2021/2022 and your address and card details are required. The balance is due on arrival. Payments may be made by card over the phone or in person, or by bank transfer 7 days in advance. Cancellations are refunded thus: More than 7 days before arrival there will be no charge but the 25€ deposit will be retained. Less than 7 days before arrival 100€% will be charged. Holiday dates can be changed for no extra cost, subject to availability. Insurance is available for last minute COVID based cancellations. It is in your interest that you have this cover. Bookings less than 7 days in advance must be paid for in full. Payment for extra costs incurred when staying can be settled on departure by card or cash.
Insurance
The unexpected happens; holiday and/or travel insurance will ensure that you do not lose your money. We will endeavour to be flexible if your plans change.
As most of our visitors engage in outdoor sports it is a condition of booking that you have insurance for your sport/activity and for winter visitors, one that covers winter sports.
All personal possessions that you bring onto our property must be fully insured.
Descriptions and photographs of the accommodation are illustrative and not all features described or photographed are available in all rooms and apartments.
Zahlungsbedingungen
We take a non-refundable deposit of 25€. This confirms your reservation and covers our costs in case of cancellation.
Full payment will be due 7 days before arrival.
Cancellations are refunded thus: More than 7 days before arrival there will be no charge but the 25€ deposit will be retained. Less than 7 days before arrival 100€% will be charged.
Payment can be made by card or by bank transfer only. We do not accept cheques.
Stornierungsbedingungen
Insurance is available for last minute COVID based cancellations. It is in your interest that you have this cover in order to be refunded quickly should you need to be.
French law states that we are obliged to issue a voucher for another holiday valid for 18 months. Only after this are we required to refund you.
Due to the uncertainties of the current situation we will try to be as flexible as possible with your booking. You will be able to change the dates of your holiday, subject to availability, for no extra charge.
