A four-person glamping dome in the grounds of Lake View Country House - home of Grasmere Brewery! Stunning views to Grasmere lake & Silver Howe. The geo tent has a double bed, two single futon beds, log-burner, storage, table and chairs. It is tucked away in a private corner of the garden but is very close to the main guest house. In the guest house nearby, there is a lounge area, plug points, wifi, and a bathroom with a loo, sink and hot shower. Please note: there is no electric in the glamping dome. Guests also enjoy a 10% discount off food & drink at our village pub, The Good Sport public house. This pub is the tap room for Grasmere Brewery, and is open to guests all day, seven days a week, with a beer garden overlooking the River Rothay.

The Cottage
The Cottage Cadangan
The Cottage is a cosy, self-contained suite of rooms with separate entrance from the main house. It has it's own front door and car parking space, and is suitable for larger groups of family or friends. The Cottage can sleep up to 4 adults and 1 child, or 2 adults and 3 children, as there is a sofa bed as well as two separate bedrooms, one with a king size bed and the other with two single beds.

All of our accommodation is booked room only. Food & drink is served a moment's walkaway at The Good Sport, where you receive 10% discount.
Please view the room you have booked via our website before arrival: https://www.lakeview-grasmere.com/detail_about_rooms. All of our bedrooms have king-sized beds. Our camp/sofa beds are extremely limited. Please let us know if you need one, or have any other special requests, before your arrival.
All of our rooms are dog-friendly. You don't need to tell us if you are bringing a dog :)
Check-in/out
In light of Covid-19: on arrival please find your room key hanging on a hook, underneath the chalk-board in our front room. Your room key has a key-ring with the room name on. Your room name is in this confirmation email. A lay-out of the house is provided by the chalk-board to help you find your room. A phone number is also provided if you need assistance. Check-in is from 4pm, but we can usually accommodate earlier arrivals. If your key is on a hook - your room will be ready! Check-out is by 10.30am. Please leave your key on a hook.
Kebijakan Pembayaran
It is always cheaper to book with us direct. We require a debit or credit card to book with us. A 50% deposit is taken at the point of booking. The balance will be taken within the four weeks before you arrival.
We reserve the right to charge a deep-cleaning fee of £80 if your room or apartment requires serious additional cleaning when you depart.
We reserve the right to charge your card on check-out in the event damage to your room. We reserve the right to charge individual guests or lead guests for the cost of rectifying damage which has been caused by the deliberate, negligent or reckless acts of guests to the hotel’s property or structure. If such damage is discovered during the stay it will be drawn to the guest’s attention but if discovered after guests have departed then we reserve the right to make a charge to the guest’s credit / debit card, or send an invoice for the costs for payment to the registered address. We will however make every effort to rectify any damage ourselves prior to contracting specialists to make the repairs, and therefore will make every effort to keep any costs that guests would incur to a minimum.

If you need to cancel, cancellation takes effect from the date that we acknowledge the cancellation. As per our Confirmation of Booking, we reserve the right to charge your card in the event of a cancellation.
- Cancellation before eight weeks of the planned arrival, 50%
- Cancellation within eight weeks of the planned arrival, 100%
In the event that we are able to re-let the accommodation for the whole or a part of the cancelled period, we will refund you on a pro-rata basis, subject to the deduction of £15 administration charge.
We will take full payment for the original date booked.
