YOUR BOOKING
Thank you for booking with Casa Olea. Your credit card details are required in order to confirm the reservation. For all bookings we request payment of a 25% deposit, which will be charged to your card at the time of booking. This payment is non-refundable and is used to guarantee your room(s) and dates. The total price quoted includes Bed & Breakfast and 10% VAT.

Full payment should be paid upon departure at Casa Olea, less the deposit paid. If you have booked a special offer or discounted/non-refundable rate, full payment will be charged at the time of booking. Any payment for a special, discounted rate is non-refundable.

TRAVEL INSURANCE
It is highly recommended that you take out personal travel insurance for all members of your party before travelling to Spain, so that you are adequately covered in the event of cancellation, personal accident, medical or legal expenses and any other particular needs. This is especially important in the event of an enforced cancellation, when you are no longer permitted to travel due to government travel advice. In this situation Casa Olea´s cancellation policy still applies, so you will require travel insurance in order to recover any cancellation fee that is applied.

SPECIAL REQUESTS
If you have any special request - such as dietary requirements, extra beds or room preference - you must advise us at the time of booking. Although we will endeavour to meet any reasonable requests we regret that we cannot always guarantee that any request will be met unless we have written to you with specific confirmation that it will.

CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT TIMES
Your room will be ready from 2pm onwards. Should you wish to arrive a little earlier, we will be happy to store your luggage until such time that your bedroom becomes available. You are kindly asked to vacate your room by 11am on the day of your departure. If bedrooms are not vacated by 1pm on the day of departure, a charge may be made by Casa Olea. Casa Olea will always aim to offer some flexibility, depending on which other reservations we have on the given day.

CHILDREN AT CASA OLEA
Casa Olea is a wonderful location for all the family, especially when it is booked for exclusive use (see Private Rental below). We do not normally accept children aged under the age of 5, unless the house is booked privately or for exceptional cases. Please contact us if you have younger children (aged under 5) and you would like to stay.

PRIVATE RENTAL OF CASA OLEA
With 6 double bedrooms Casa Olea is ideal for a large family get-together or for two families travelling together. Similar in style to a luxury villa rental, but with all catering & cleaning provided, so everyone can have a break and nobody needs to do the cooking or washing up! We have 3 extra child beds and 1 cot at your disposal. Please ensure that you request either at the time of booking. Please note that Casa Olea cannot guarantee the availability of either if they are not requested (and confirmed to you) at the time of booking.

PRIVACY POLICY
We are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. Your personal data shall be handled by us, both manually and through data processing systems, with the purpose of:
* trying to meet any personal requests you may have.
* providing you with information, products or services that you request from us or which we feel may interest you, where you have consented to be contacted for such purposes.
* carrying out our obligations and notifying you of any changes to your reservation.

USE OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA
We shall not disclose your personal information to any third parties unless we are under a duty to do so in order to comply with any legal obligation, or in order to enforce or apply our booking conditions and cancellation policy and other agreements; or to protect the rights, property or safety of Casa Olea and its staff, our customers, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organisations for the purposes of fraud prevention.

You have the right to ask us not to process your personal data for Casa Olea´s own marketing purposes. We will usually inform you if we intend to use your data for such purposes. You can exercise your right to prevent such processing by contacting us at info@casaolea.com

GOVERNING LAW & JURISTICTION
All matters concerning the booking shall be subject to Spanish Law. You hereby agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Spanish courts for all matters relating to the use of our website and in relation to our booking conditions.

OUR / YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

* Activities, self-guide routes & recommendations
It is your choice to take part in any activities during your stay at Casa Olea, such as walking, mountain biking or swimming. While Casa Olea offers helpful advice and fully-researched, self-guide routes for suggested activities and itineraries, your acceptance of this advice and decision to undertake the activity is entirely at your own risk and with the full understanding of the hazards inherent with such activities. This understanding also extends to all recommendations made by Casa Olea with regard to local excursions, restaurants, bars and shops. Casa Olea cannot accept responsibility for the actions of any third party or supplier.

* Guest behaviour
By reading and accepting Casa Olea’s booking conditions, you agree that Casa Olea reserves the right to terminate your stay - or that of any member of your party - if we deem your behaviour to be detrimental to the safety or welfare of Casa Olea staff and/or other guests resident at Casa Olea. No refunds will be given and Casa Olea shall be under no obligation whatsoever to pay compensation or meet any costs or expenses you may incur as a result of your stay being terminated in those circumstances.

Casa Olea also reserves the right to apply a charge for any major damage caused by a guest to the property and its contents. By major damage, we refer to any damage which could be reasonably perceived as being greater than that caused by “daily use and deterioration”. This charge will be applied in relation to the real value of the damaged property.

* Smoking and Casa Olea
Casa Olea is a NON SMOKING HOUSE. We would please ask you to respect this request for the health and comfort of other guests and Casa Olea staff. Important - please note that Casa Olea reserves the right to charge any guest for smoking inside the house, as a cost will be incurred by Casa Olea for the cleaning required.

* Personal property / belongings
It is your responsibility to look after your personal property during your stay at Casa Olea. Casa Olea has a hotel safe and is happy to offer this as a secure place to store valuables during your stay. We accept no responsibility or contingent liability for theft from your room, your car, your luggage or belongings during your stay, for any items which are not stored in this safe.

* Liability
Except where otherwise expressly stated in these Booking Conditions, we regret we cannot accept liability or pay any compensation where the performance of our contractual obligations is prevented or affected by or you otherwise suffer any damage or loss as a result of “force majeure”. By “force majeure” we mean any event which we could not, even with all due care, foresee or avoid. Such events may include riots, civil strife, dispute, natural or nuclear disaster, epidemics, extraordinarily adverse weather conditions, fire and all similar events outside our control..

Política de pagamento

For all bookings we request payment of 25% deposit which will be charged to your card at the time of booking. This payment is non-refundable and is used to guarantee your room(s) and dates. The total price quoted includes Bed & Breakfast and 10% VAT.

Payment of the remaining balance and all extras (meals, drinks etc) should be made at check-out. This payment can be made in cash, by credit card (visa or mastercard), or by transfer with Revolut.

Política de cancelamento

As we only have 6 rooms and very rarely receive last-minute bookings - should you cancel less than 28 days prior to your arrival, Casa Olea will charge the whole amount (full payment) to your credit card. Full payment will also be charged for a “no show” on your expected day of arrival.

We strongly advise you to take out travel insurance that covers you for any cancellation (see “Travel Insurance” in our Terms and Conditions).
