Payment Policy

The total amount of the bill must be paid at the check-in. You may pay with cash, by VISA or MASTERCARD.
If you book through our website www.mountainhosteltarter.com, you’ll have to pay for the first night by credit card as a diposit and the outstanding amount at the check-in.

Si reservas a través de nuestra web www.mountainhosteltarter.com, deberás abonar la primera noche con tarjeta de crédito como depósito y el importe pendiente en el check-in.

Cancellation Policy

The following cancellation policies apply to reservations of less than 10 people. For group reservations of 10 people or more, special conditions apply and will be specifically mentioned in the reservation.
Our general cancellation policy is 3 DAYS (72 hours) before the day of arrival. That is, if cancelled or modified your reservation 3 DAYS (72 hours) before of the day of arrival at the hostel, no charge will be made. If cancelled or modified your reservation after this time or no show, 100% of the reservation will be charged on the credit card.
EXCEPTIONS:
- From the 1st November to the 30th April, the cancellation policy is 15 DAYS. That is, for bookings with stay during this period, if cancelled or modified your reservation 15 DAYS before of the day of arrival at the hostel, no charge will be made. If cancelled or modified your reservation after this time or no show, 100% of the reservation will be charged on the credit card.
- From the 25th December to the 5th January and from the 1st February to the 28th February the cancellation policy is 30 DAYS. That is, for bookings with stay during this period, if canceled or modified your reservation 30 DAYS before of the day of arrival at the hostel, no charge will be made. If canceled or modified your reservation after this time or no show, 100% of the reservation will be charged on the credit card.

SPECIAL CANCELLATION CONDITIONS RELATED TO COVID-19:
In times of Covid-19 the cancellation policy and the aforementioned exceptions also apply. Even so, a full refund of the reservation is guaranteed at any time if you have to cancel the reservation due to one of the following 3 circumstances:
1- If you cannot leave your country or cannot enter into Andorra due to travel restrictions related to Covid-19. It must be an official declaration of the Government of the country that prohibits travel if it is not essential travel.
2- If the Grandvalira ski resort closes completely due to Covid-19.
3- If you have been diagnosed with Covid-19 before your trip and you cannot travel on the dates of your reservation. In this case it will be essential to send an official medical certificate with the positive for Covid-19 as well as the essential confinement time prescribed by the doctor. Even so, we recommend you purchase travel insurance that provides cover for such reason.

Las siguientes políticas de cancelación se aplican a reservas particulares de menos de 10 personas. Para reservas de grupos de 10 personas o más se aplican condiciones especiales que serán mencionadas específicamente en la reserva.
Nuestra política de cancelación general es de 3 DÍAS (72h) antes del día de llegada. Es decir, si cancelas o modificas tu reserva antes de 3 DÍAS (72h) del día de llegada al hostel no se realizará ningún cobro. Si cancelas o modificas tu reserva fuera de este plazo, o no te presentas al hostel se cargará el 100% de la reserva en la tarjeta de crédito. Pero hay excepciones según la época del año y estas excepciones son las siguientes:
EXCEPCIONES:
1- Del 1 de Noviembre al 30 de Abril, la política de cancelación es de 15 DÍAS. Es decir, para reservas con estancia durante estas fechas, si cancelas o modificas tu reserva antes de 15 DÍAS del día de llegada al hostel no se realizará ningún cobro. Si cancelas o modificas tu reserva fuera de este plazo, o no te presentas al hostel se cargará el 100% de la reserva en la tarjeta de crédito.
2- Del 25 de Diciembre al 5 de Enero, y del 1 al 28 de Febrero, la política de cancelación es de 30 DÍAS. Es decir, para reservas con estancia durante estas fechas, si cancelas o modificas tu reserva antes de 30 DÍAS del día de llegada al hostel no se realizará ningún cobro. Si cancelas o modificas tu reserva fuera de este plazo, o no te presentas al hostel se cargará el 100% de la reserva en la tarjeta de crédito.

CONDICIONES ESPECIALES DE CANCELACIÓN RELACIONADAS CON LA COVID-19:
En tiempos de Covid-19 también se aplica la política de cancelación y las excepciones anteriormente mencionadas. Aun así, el reembolso completo de la reserva está garantizado en cualquier momento si tienes que cancelar la reserva debido a una de las siguientes 3 circunstancias:
1- Si no puedes salir de tu país o no puedes entrar en Andorra debido a las restricciones de viaje relacionadas con la Covid-19. Debe ser una declaración oficial del Gobierno del país que prohíba viajar si no se trata de viajes esenciales.
2- Si la estación de esquí Grandvalira cierra totalmente debido a la Covid-19.
3- Si has sido diagnosticado de Covid-19 antes de tu viaje y no puedes viajar en las fechas de tu reserva. En este caso será imprescindible enviar un certificado médico que certifique el positivo por Covid-19 así como el tiempo de confinamiento imprescindible prescrito por el médico. Aun así, te recomendamos adquirir un seguro de viaje que proporcione cobertura ante una posible cancelación por este motivo.
