Burrowed in the woods along the shore of Walker Lake, the Walker Lake Resort is an all-season cottage resort in the scenic Muskoka region of Ontario. With seven lakeside cottages, the resort has been offering a great Ontario lakes vacation for over 85 years. During the spring or summer enjoy swimming, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, and more. We're 15 minutes from some of Ontario's best golf and world renowned Algonquin Park. Also a winter wonderland, Walker Lake Resort is close to Ontario's vast network of snowmobile and cross-country ski trails that meander through the forests. All within steps of the lake Lake, the cottages have one, two or three bedrooms, kitchens, bath, living room, and a screened porch or deck. At the Walker Lake Resort, a secluded, tranquil Muskoka retreat awaits, no matter what time of year!

Terms & Conditions

Smoking inside our cottages is not allowed - any violation of this policy will result in a fee of $250. You are welcome to smoke on your deck as long as it is uncovered or anywhere outside except the dock. Guests are responsible for any damages. The property is not responsible for any theft or damage to guest property. Children must be accompanied by an adult when in the water. For the comfort of our guests, noise must be kept to a minimum after 11:00PM.

The price includes free internet and the use of our canoes, kayaks, paddle boat, fishing boat, stand up paddle boards, water trampoline, beach and dock area. Linens, towels and cooking utensils are also included.

Please bring your own beach towels and some personal care products such as soap and shampoo.

Payment Policy

Deposit: A valid credit card is required for all reservations. Deposits for all reservations are as follows: The minimum deposit 50% of the total cost of stay. Deposit payable by credit card. Your credit card will be charged the remaining amount of your reservation on the day of arrival.

Cancellation Policy

Thank you for booking your holiday at Walker Lake Resort. Because of our small size, cancellations and changes affect us significantly and we have little chance to re-book cancelled reservations. Therefore, we must adhere to a firm deposit and cancellation policy. Cancellations made more than 60 days before arrival date forfeit the deposit unless the accommodation is re-rented for the same time period as the original reservation. Cancellation made within 30 days of arrival date are liable for the full reservation costs. This will automatically be billed to your credit card.
