The 'Rafter's Gastropub
Rooms at Rafter's Gastropub & Accommodation are all en suite with TVs, ironing equipment and hair dryers. Tea and coffee available from the bar. All the rooms are non smoking. There is a heated roof top beer garden and smoking area available on the first floor.
The bar has a traditional Irish welcome and a cosy log fire. It has an extensive range of drinks with a wine list and a cocktail menu. There is live music every Saturday with local bands, live sport on big screens, a pool table and dart board.
The Rafter's GastroPub, recommended by Lucinda O'Sullivan as one of Ireland's top 20 Gastropubs (Sunday Independent), serves food from 8.30am for Kilkenny's best breakfast , to lunches from 12 noon and a la carte til 9pm ( seasonally changeable).
Our city centre location affords you the opportunity to explore Kilkenny's wonderful attractions from Kilkenny Castle to St. Canice's Cathedral along the Medieval Mile with all its attractions.
Kilkenny has a fantastic selection of shops, restaurants and bars and the Train Station is a 10-minute walk from The Rafter's Gastropub.
