Gillen House Luxury Bed and Breakfast Terms and Conditions

Check-in and Check-Out:
Check-in time is 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. We do not have a front desk; please make every effort to arrive on time.
Check out time is 11 a.m.
Deposits:
A deposit of 25% of your stay will be charged to your credit card at the time your reservation is made. Deposits can only be made by credit or debit cards. Your balance will be charged to your credit card on file at check out.
Rates, Taxes and Fees:
Rates, taxes and fees are subject to change. All rates based on double occupancy.
Face Masks:
If you have been vaccinated for COVID-19, you may move freely throughout the house and grounds without a face mask. If you have not been vaccinated, we request that guests wear face coverings when not able to socially distance while inside the house.
Food Allergies, Restrictions and Other food requests:
Please be sure to alert your innkeeper if you have any dietary restrictions, are vegan or vegetarian, or have other special requirements such as celiac disease, gluten-intolerance, gluten-free diets, hate green things, don’t eat eggs. A good example would be on medication that precludes grapefruit.
Smoking:
Smoking is NOT permitted inside any of the buildings or on the grounds. A cleaning fee of $500 will be assessed for any violations in buildings.
Maximum occupancy:
Amarillo, Azul & Rojo rooms is 2 people.
Verde room is 4.
$50 charge per night per room for each additional Adult in the Verde room.
No exceptions.
Young Adults:
Young adults 12 and older are welcome. Our home is a peaceful retreat for our guests, and we welcome well behaved young people. Our facility is not designed for young children or infants, we apologize for any inconvenience.
Pet Policy:
We do not accept pets on property.
We have 2 cats who are on property, and typically are housed in the owner’s accommodation area.
Room Damage/Missing Items/Excessive Cleaning:
If rooms are damaged or left extremely dirty during a stay, guests will be charged the amount it costs to replace damaged item + 50/hr. labor fees to return room to its original state. This includes missing/damaged remotes, bedding, towels, windows, window screens, fixtures, furniture, doors, lights, mirrors, artwork etc.
Disabled Accessibility:
We are NOT accessible for those who are disabled. All rooms are on the second floor and only are accessible via stairs.
Cancellations:
We adhere to a strict cancellation policy.
• Cancellations made prior to the seven (7) day arrival deadline will be refunded their deposit minus a $25.00 cancelation fee or can be credited toward a future stay.
• Cancellations made within seven (7) days of your arrival date will lose their deposit.
• Cancellations made four (4) days or less will be charged the full amount of the reservation. This includes “No-shows” and premature check-outs.
• Reservations made more than 2 months in advance are subject to a longer cancellation period. If cancelled prior to twenty-one (21) days of arrival date, there is no penalty. If cancelled within twenty-one (21) days of arrival date, a $25 per room cancellation fee will be assessed. If cancelled within fourteen (14) days prior to arrival date, guests will be charged the full amount of the reservation.
• Reservations made more than 4 months in advance are subject to a longer cancellation period. If cancelled prior to thirty (30) days of arrival date, there is no penalty. If cancelled within thirty (30) days of arrival date, a $25 per room cancellation fee will be assessed. If cancelled within twenty one (21) days of arrival date, you will be charged the full amount of the reservation.

Cancellations must be made directly by e-mail to info@gillenhousebandb.com with a confirmed response from Gillen House Luxury B&B.
Legal Notice:
This is our home, and we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. By booking a room at the Gillen House, you agree to hold harmless the property and owners from any injury sustained while on the grounds or in the house. We are not responsible for accidents or injury, damages to personal property or vehicles, or for the loss of money or valuables of any kind.

Payment Policy

All rates based on double occupancy. Maximum occupancy in Amarillo, Azul & Rojo rooms is 2, and in Verde room is 4, no exceptions.
