Welcome to the Blackwell Boutique Hotel, we're so glad you're here!
Check-in Policy - It's simple. Look for our messaging service to send you a few text messages the morning of your arrival. These messages will give you all the information needed to check-in. (We are a securely locked hotel with codes on all doors)
Check-in time: after 4 pm.
Check-out time: 11:00 AM.
The Blackwell Boutique Hotel has a limited hotel staff with code locks to all doors. There are no employees on site after 5 pm through the night until 7 am the next morning.
The Blackwell Boutique Hotel is a historic Coeur d'Alene Mansion with a touch of uniqueness and while staying with us you will not run into the same comfort style as a brand-name hotel. The beauty of staying with us is enjoying the personal touch while taking in the historic feel with contemporary warmth. The hotel has central air and heating, however, due to the house being built in 1904, please understand there is a level of uniqueness in temperature control and noise level. If this concerns you, give us a call, we would love to chat with you about the room you booked and your stay with us
Smoking: No smoking is allowed anywhere on Blackwell Hotel property.
Reservations: All reservations will be held with a credit card. Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express are accepted. We do not accept cash for payment. If you make a reservation through a third-party booking engine, Hotels.com, Expedia, or Groupon, you will be asked to place a credit card on file upon your arrival for incidentals. You must be 21 years of age to check into the Blackwell Hotel.
Damages: We require a credit card on hold for any damages beyond the normal use of our amenities or at the fault of the hotel, including furniture, linens, structural damage to the house, etc.
Candles: For guest safety and the protection of this historic house and its furnishings, the use of candles in guest rooms is prohibited.
Children: We are Coeur d' Alene's top romantic getaway destination and we are an adult-only hotel.
Occupancy: Each room can accommodate a maximum of two guests. Only registered guests have use of the property. Arrangements must be made in advance for visitors. Charges may apply for extra guests at breakfast.

Payment Policy
All reservations will be held with a credit card. Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express are accepted. We do not accept cash for hotel bookings. If you make a reservation through a third party booking engine, Hotels.com, Expedia or Groupon, you will be asked to put a credit card on file upon your arrival.
Cancellation Policy
A cancellation fee of $35 applies if made within less than three (3) days of scheduled arrival. If the cancellation occurs within less than 3 days then the fee is the first full night of the stay.
Rates/policies are subject to change and vary during high impact periods and special requests. A 30-day cancellation notice is required on whole house bookings, multiple room bookings, and for some holidays and special events.
Cancellations or changes to a reservation must be made by telephone and verbally acknowledged.
