Terms & Conditions

Cancellation Policy
Prior to 24hrs no charge.
24hrs or less (cancelled or modified after 3pm on the day before checkin) FULL PAYMENT of outstanding balance

Children and Extra Bed Policy
• All children are welcome.
• One child under 4 years stays free of charge in an extra fold up bed.
• The maximum number of extra beds/children's cots permitted in a room is 1.
The maximum age of children (currently 4) that can stay for free in a room will automatically correspond to the child age set in the room configuration.

Smoking, Vaping or E-cigarettes are not permitted anywhere in the building.

Any items missing from your hotel room upon departure will be charged for.

WiFi is available in public areas and some hotel rooms and is free of charge.

Stairs
All of our rooms are located on the First and Second Floor and are accessed by stairs only. There are no ground floor rooms available. Our team are more than happy to help you with luggage.

Parking
• Public parking is possible at a location nearby (reservation is not possible) and charges may be applicable.

Pets
• Pets are allowed on request. Charges are applicable.

Dogs are welcome at The Beach Hotel all year round.

Your canine companions can join you in the conservatory to eat and by the fire in the snug and there are plenty of dog friendly beaches along the Somerset coastline.
Porlock Shingle Ridge has no restrictions on dogs however the main Minehead beach has a restriction on dogs from the 1st of May to the 30th of September each year, the beach is dog friendly in the summer season from in front of the golf course to the east and beyond the harbour to the west. There are also plenty of walking routes for you and your four legged friends to explore around the area with stunning coastal vistas.

Dogs can stay in our second floor rooms. They are charged at £15 for the first night and £5 per night for any additional nights. Guests are only permitted to bring a maximum of two dogs per room. Dog food is not provided.

Guests with dogs will be given a copy of our dog owner’s policy on arrival. Please get in touch if you’d like to see a copy in advance
