More Country House than hotel or bed & breakfast, nestled on a private estate of over 1,000 acres in the picturesque Sligo countryside, Temple House is a luxury manor overlooking a 13th-century lakeside castle of the Knights Templar. You will enjoy free Wi-Fi throughout, free parking and easy access to outdoor activities such as hiking, fishing, boating and golf. With easy reach you will also find 3 championship golf courses, megalithic archaeological sites, WB Yeats country and beautiful beaches on the Wild Atlantic Way.
Each room boasts luxury furniture and décor, free luxury VOYA organic seaweed toiletries, and tea and coffee making facilities. 6 rooms have an en suite bathroom and 1 has an external private bathroom. Original features are tastefully and sympathetically brought up to date so that you will be warm and comfortable.

Breakfast and dinner are served in the elegant dining room. A hearty full choice breakfast is cooked to order using locally sourced ingredients; the dinner menu sometimes features lamb from our farm.

DINNER: You may reserve a 4 course dinner for the evening that you arrive in the booking process - with no up front charge. (Mon-Sat 7.30pm). We are pleased to cater for specific dietary needs - please tell us in advance.

Carrowmore Megalithic Cemetery is 15 km away and Eagles Flying Raptor Centre is located a 5-minute drive from the manor. Temple House is 1 km off the N17. Sligo is an 18-minute drive away. Knock Airport is 30 minutes’ drive from the property. Dublin Airport is only 2.5 hours away.

This is an ideal place to stay just off the Wild Atlantic Way.

DINNER
If you have not already decided, would you like dinner on the evening that you arrive? Mon-Sat. 3-courses followed by coffee and petit fours by the fire in the morning room. 49 euro each. Dress smart casual. Since we offer a set menu please let us know if there are any dietary requirements.

TERMS
All rates are quoted and charged in EUR inclusive of VAT at the current rate. Alternative currency rates are indicative only, based on current exchange rates and are subject to fluctuation. Rates quoted are subject to availability and alteration.

Payment Policy

A non-refundable prepayment of 10% percent may be debited from your card at time of booking. 20% for 3+ rooms. In the event that we cannot debit this deposit from your card then such reservation shall be null and void. The balance of the accommodation charge as well as any additional costs incurred shall be paid prior to departure.

Cancellation Policy

1-2 rooms 10%, 7 days 25%, 48 hours 100%.
3-4 rooms 10%, 28 days 20%, 21 days 50%, 14 days 75%, 48 hours 100%.
5-7 rooms 20%, 28 days 30%, 21 days 50%, 7 days 75%, 48 hours 100%.
Whole House: 20%, 28 days 50%, 14 days 75%, 48 hours 100%
