Our chic, retro-inspired and fully furnished one-bedroom suites are fully equipped with all the comforts of home and more: living, dining, kitchen, separate bedroom and bath. Each suite is unique in its fun and pleasant Florida retro style decor, furthermore creating the best getaway you can ask for. Room 200 is our smallest room, it is a one room suite with full kitchen, queen size bed, dinette, full bathroom, and a disco ball. This is our coziest room with a garden view, it is Anne’s favorite, and she is a frequent guest who can pick any room in the house, but she loves room 200.

Monkey Room
Only named as such because of the monkey motif upholstery, the corner cane back and bamboo vintage chairs are so comfy, together with the Palacek dinette set, MCM works Cactus table lamp, and Panthers’ 50’s print make this room a bit of a bright jungle. Overlooking the pool and gardens, with a queen size bed vintage 50’s headboard, high-boy dresser and desk, and the most fabulous chalkware Egyptian dancer table lamp with original shade. Comfort and beauty everywhere you look.

Mind blowing
From the mind blowing picture, this room has comfy vintage arm chairs from a Miami Beach Estate, a bamboo with cane chairs dinette, ceramic lamps, sitting on two tier vintage mid-century end tables. A queen bed with upholstered headboard in vintage CBS tv fabric, with a pair of chalkware dancer lamps.
Overlooking the pool and gardens this retro room feels modern day and cozy.

Retro Delight
This room is overloaded with collectibles, from the Paul McCobb Pomona tile lamp with original shade, the corner wrap around sofa, to the wave table, Eero Sarinen Tulip chair dinette set, to the mid-century street scape wall art, to the glass grapes wall art you will not know where to look first! The queen size bed with mid-century parrot art print and the Vero had painted Bottalico lamps which Jane at Tambourine told me not to pass up! You will be mesmerized by all the collectibles and comfort contained in this room.

Comfy, bright with an East view overlooking the gardens and pool. A comfy sofa, exploding with a starbright mirror installation on the wall, a dinette with chrome bistro chairs make for a delightful room. King size bed with amorphous amoeba shadow box wall art, and lattice green lamp make this room a fave to all.

Mrs. Shriver’s room
Turquoise and green colors bring the pool and garden views into the forefront, retro details include a bamboo and wicker mid-century style dinette, a Blenko American Art Fish lamp, comfy swivel chairs and a cushy sofa complete the living area. The white Queen bed came from a Miami Beach mansion, white mica and Lucite complete the bedroom suite.

Nautical Room
Reminiscent of life in a yacht, furnishings from a waterfront Miami Beach mansion, in dark cherry wood with original brass plates, barrel 1970’s Knoll arm chairs, and an original under water brutalist wall sculpture blend together with round glass top dining table, chairs in the Marcel Breuer Cesca Cane and chrome style. Bedroom has a queen size bed with vintage white vinyl headboard and mid-century ceramic open center wave lamps. Our nautical room offers a yachting life 1950’s experience.

Frederick Weinberg “Swing Time” lighted wall sculpture is the focal point of this comfy room. A day bed deep comfy sofa with bolsters, and a round mica tall cane back chairs make this retro room the total experience. Facing the gardens and pool area, the master bedroom king size bed in white and blue and coral color motifs does not let you forget you are in a beachy hotel.

The Beach Pad
Zen, relaxation and Beach are the main elements of the unpretentious, comfortable simplicity in this room. Palm frond framed windows give it a bright and airy feel. Corner unit steps to the ocean. Appointed in a Mid-Century minimalist style that exudes beach life, the furnishings in this room are fabulous finds put together with the intention to guarantee a peaceful, beach escape. The expansive 1960’s Harvey Probber corner modular sofa upholstered in a vintage fabric sets the tone. A 1970’s Lightcraft of California “Onion Lamp” accentuates the living area. The sleek, Formica top coffee table is a throwback to the era of ‘’less is more”. Dining area is created by a 1970’s Luigi Perini Lucite/chrome/mirrored high-top bar enhancing the minimalist feeling of this room. The “Verosis” will kick in within 12 hours of your stay...Relax, read, paint, write, indulge in this peaceful beach pad which will lure you back time and time again.

Terms & Conditions
Occupancy:
Please note, all rooms are based on double occupancy unless otherwise instructed. Any
extra guests over 12 years of age will be charged $25 per person, per night.
Office Hours:
9:00 am to 5:30 pm (Mon- Fri) 8:30 am to 5:30 pm (Sat-Sun)
Check-In is at 3 pm / Check-Out is at 11 am.
Same day booking accepted ONLY during Office Hours.
If you depart before 9:AM, you may leave the keys in the room and the doors unlocked.
If you arrive late, the door to your room will be unlocked with keys on the dining table.
No Noise/Party Policy:
Hotel QUIET HOURS begin at 10:00 p.m., nightly. Loud noise, loud music, loud voices (in Hotel suites, swimming pool, or other facilities), are not permitted and can result in immediate eviction with no refund.
No Smoking Policy:
South Beach Place is a smoke-free hotel. You will incur a $250 charge for smoking in guest rooms.
Pet Policy:
We are Pet Friendly. There is a flat rate of $25 per pet. Pets must be leashed in the common areas. All pet stays must be confirmed with the property prior to arrival to ensure a pet-friendly room is available. In the event a pet is found in a non-designated pet room there will be a $150 pet fee charged to the account of the pet owner. There are a maximum of two (2) dogs per designated pet-friendly room. Under no circumstances is it acceptable for any pet to be in the pool.
Guest parking:
is designated at the South End of the property. Please do not leave any valuables in your vehicle, we are not responsible for any theft or damage.
Housekeeping Service:
We do not offer daily housekeeping service. However, services are available upon request for an additional fee. For daily towel exchange, we ask that you place your used towels and linens out on the porch chair by noon and they will be exchanged for a clean set.
Guest laundry:
is available for your convenience, at your expense. It is in the west wing of the building. We will not be responsible for articles left behind. Change is available at the office.
BBQ:
The barbecue is for everyone to enjoy. Please keep Barbecue and the surrounding area clean. TURN THE BARBECUE GAS TANK OFF WHEN FINISHED COOKING. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
Garbage:
Garbage and recyclables can be disposed of in the dumpster located in South West corner of the building. We encourage recycling and hope you can do so!
Pool:
It is open from Dawn to Dusk. Use at your own risk. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. No Pets are allowed in the pool area. No Smoking. No Glass, please!!! Pool furniture must remain in the pool area always. The pool is open to registered hotel guests ONLY. Towels are provided for the Hotel Guest ONLY.
Room Furnishing:
All guests are responsible for the furnishings in the unit during their stay. Each unit has been inventoried prior to your arrival and an inventory shall be conducted prior to your departure.
There will be a replacement charge for damaged or missing items such as towels, room keys, or any other items from the room. Our rooms are furnished with vintage collectible pieces, please enjoy our collection and be respectful and kind to it!
Hotel Management cannot be held responsibility for any personal items and valuables left in
the guest rooms.
We will do our very best to accommodate you with the room of your choice. However, we
reserve the right to change your room choice at our discretion and for any reason.
Our night manager, Jonathan, lives on the premises in apartment 101 located behind the office.
