Property Information
Tonic
TONIC is located in the former Sheridan Livery Inn building. The property dates back to 1887 and originally served as a stable and post office. With the rise of the automobile in the early 1900s, demand for the stable and carriage service declined. In the following years, the Sheridan building became Rockbridge Steam Laundry and, later, the Old Main Street Indoor Mall. In 1997, Ugo and Gina Benincasa renovated the property and opened The Sheridan Livery Inn and Restaurant. Beginning late summer 2020, the Benincasa family is taking the property on a new journey as TONIC. You will notice our new name along with patio renovations and a new menu. Restaurant and room renovations slated for late 2020/2021! Let Tonic cure whatever ails you!
