Property Information
Shearwater Resort & Marina is a remote Resort Community located on Denny Island on the Central Coast of British Columbia, Canada. We cater primarily to Sports Fishermen who's dream it is to 'Catch the Big One' & Eco Tourists who come from all over the world to find the elusive Spirit Bear & go whale watching in our breathtaking surrounding waters & Islands. Take a seabus that runs hourly over to Bella Bella & tour around the Hellsuk First Nations Community in the Heart of The Great Bear Rain Forest.
We offer many amenities on Denny Island such as hiking, kayaking, boat rentals, tours & mushroom picking. You could also just stay put on Resort Property & take advantage of our Fisherman's Bar & Grill or shop at our local store & gift shop. Get your clothes etc cleaned @ our full service Laundromat. Pick up a Latte, Cappuccino, Smoothie or fresh baked goods at Hodge Podge Café.
No matter where you are on the Island, the ocean views, sunrises & sunsets are unsurpassed.
We offer a full service Marina with 500ft of moorage space equipped with shore power & water. Our dedicated Sports Fishing Department will happily take care of all your fishing needs from equipment to cleaning, freezing, vacuum packing & shipping. Our Marine Operations are available to deal with any of your vessel repairs, big or small.
Suited to all ages & genders, there is something for everyone.

Terms & Conditions
Check in time: Daily from 3pm to 6 pm in winter & 3pm to 8:00pm in the summer . Late check in available on request with prior arrangement.
Check out time: Anytime prior to10am
Rates are subject to change without notice.
Room rates are based on Double Occupancy, additional charges apply to extra guests subject to the maximum occupancy per room.
Taxes of 13% (5% GST & 8% Hotel Room Tax) are applied with each reservation.
Smoking policy: We proudly offer 100% smoke free rooms & buildings. We do have substantial damage fees for those that choose to smoke in their rooms.
Pet Policy: Only one pet per room allowed, maximum weight for pet is 30 lbs. $100 one time cleaning fee applies to all pet stays. Limited rooms are available for pet stays due to allergy concerns.
Air conditioning: Sorry but we do not offer air conditioning. There is a cooling breeze from the ocean & fans are available upon request.
Elevator: We do not have an elevator. Access to your rooms are by stairs only. If you need any help with your luggage our amazing staff are happy to help.
Closed annually from December 24th - January 3rd for the Holidays
Daily office hours are from 8am-6pm Mon-Fri & 9am-6pm on weekends in winter and 8am to 8pm in the summer.
Payment Policy
We require a 50% deposit at the time of booking with the remainder due upon check-in.
Corporate partner policy applies with payment due at the time of check in.
A credit card is required to book your accommodations. Should you not have a Credit Card then the cost of the room & a $300.00 refundable cash deposit is required. Without a credit card at booking will be unable to guarantee your reservation. During our peak months, (June, July & August) should you decide to leave early a refund will not be made for the remaining nights.
Cancellation Policy
Our cancellation policies range from 24 hours in the Winter months to 5 days notice in the Spring, Summer & Fall.
During peak season (July 1st to Aug 31) we require 10 days notice.
Cancellation fees are 50% of the booking outlined in the confirmation.
No refunds will be issued for early check out during peak season.
In case of NO SHOW, no refunds will be processed.
