Property Information
'Mudra', a Sanskrit word, means a symbolic hand gesture that has the power of producing joy and happiness.
"Mudra" is located at the entrance to the "La Veleta" subdivision, just two blocks from the federal highway that connects Tulum with the rest of the State of Quintana Ro. La Veleta is the area located in the downtown area of Tulum. It is an imminently residential area. The presence of luxury buildings, as well as the commitment of large developers is turning it into one of the areas with the highest growth and goodwill forecast in Tulum. Terms & Conditions
Reservation Policy
• Rates based on maximum occupancy per unit, per night in US dollars
• Rates subject to 19% tax (16% VAT and 3% lodging tax)
• Dynamic rates subject to daily occupancy
• Christmas and New Year periods a minimum stay of 5 nights is required. For Easter and Holy Week, a minimum stay of 3 nights is required.
• In case of last minute reservations, the check-in time will be subject to hotel operation.
• VISA, and MCARD credit cards are accepted at the Hotel.
• Following the measures required by Mexican government to avoid COVID-19 contagions. The check-out time in our property is established at 11 am in order to clean and sanitize our rooms.
• Late check-out is upon availability with an extra charge of 100USD until 1 pm.
Precautionary measures COVID-19
• According to the official government requirements is obligatory to use a facemask and hydro alcoholic gel for all our guests.
• The temperature is screening to all our guests and luggage sanitized once arriving at the hotel.
• In case of any guest presents COVID-19 symptoms during their stay in the hotel, we must be obligate to contact the medical local authorities and proceed under their instructions.
Payment Policy
Deposits and Payments
• The charges made by the hotel before, during and after the guest's stay are subject to the money exchange valid in the hotel.
• A deposit of 50% of the total stay is required at the time of booking and once the free cancellation period has ended.
• The remaining 50% balance for the total stay shoul be covered at the time of check in.
• Stays of 1 night, the total prepayment plus taxes is required at booking.
CHRISTMAS and NEW YEAR Period
• A deposit of 100% of the total cost of the stay, including taxes, is required to guarantee your reservation at time of booking.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations
• Cancellation up to 15 days prior to arrival, will not generate any cost.
• Cancellation 14 days or less prior to the arrival date, will be subject to a penalty of the deposit collected (50% for the total cost of stay).
CHRISTMAS and NEW YEAR period
• Cancellations are not allowed during this period.
Refunds
• All applicable refunds are subject to hotel scheduling and availability.
• Mudra Tulum is not responsible for refunds not made by Travel Agencies if the reservation policy applies a refund.
Changes
• Any modification is subject to availability. In case there is a difference in the rate, it must be covered by the client.
• Under no circumstance should a new rate be lower will the hotel reimburse or apply credits. The cancellation policy applies according to the initial date of purchase.
• In the event of Force Majeure events such as acts of God, war, terrorism, pandemic, hurricane strikes, civil unrest, government authority or any other emergency that makes it impossible for us to provide our facilities, the guest may request the modification of their reservation for a future stay for the same number of nights with the above-mentioned modification specifications, up to 72 hours before the arrival date.
No show and early departures
• In case of no show the deposit will be applied without option of refund for the period covered and the room will be released at the corresponding check out time.
• Any early departure does not generate any refund or liability for the hotel.
