Mendip Spring Golf and Country Club is situated in 170 cares of beautiful Somerset countryside just in between Bristol and Weston super Mare, against a back drop of the Mendip Hills providing a tranquil setting for a game of golf on either of our two courses.
Mendip Springs attractive golf clubhouse is centred on an original 16th Century farmhouse. Tastefully developed, it is full of character and provides comprehensive bar and catering facilities, restaurants, function rooms and overnight accommodation.
Our nine attractive, well-furnished accommodation rooms all offer en-suite facilities with bath or shower. Television, tea and coffee making facilities are also provided.

The rooms are perfect for those wishing to stay overnight after a function, or for visiting golfers, and offer outstanding value. We are also within easy reach of Bristol Airport for those needing accommodation before or after a flight.

After a round of golf the Mendip Spring Clubhouse is the perfect place to relax with a drink, enjoy a tasty snack or a more substantial meal. Members, guests and visitors can choose between the ‘spike bar’ area of the Clubhouse or the recently extended and refurbished lounge and dining area.

There is also a recreational area with a pool table; particularly popular with younger golfers.

The fully licensed bar areas offer a good choice of draught and bottled beers, lagers, cider and an extensive selection of wines and soft drinks
The clubhouse is an ideal venue for meetings, conferences, weddings and other special occasions.

Background

Mendip Spring is committed to the health, safety and well-being of its members, employees, contracted personnel, sub-contractors, and visitors.
The following social distancing guidelines apply to all those persons whilst attending Mendip Spring as it relates to the prevention and control of communicable diseases. “Social Distancing” is a public health protection measure meant to reduce and slow the transmission of disease.
Social distancing measures currently relate to any environment, both indoors and outdoors and this policy aligns with guidance from Public Health England (www.gov.uk/government/organisations/public-health-england). It is important to note that the measures are equally important, before, during and after your visit to Mendip Spring.

Policy

The Stay Safe guide accompanies this policy and provides comprehensive details of the measures that have been put in place. These should be reviewed before visiting Mendip Spring It is also imperative that:

• Any Visitors with any symptoms of COVID-19 must not visit Mendip Spring.
• Any Visitor from a household with someone showing signs of COVID-19 symptoms must not visit Mendip Spring.
• Any Visitor who is self-isolating due to COVID-19 vulnerabilities or return from travels overseas must not visit Mendip Spring.

This policy will remain under constant review and will be updated based on any changing advisories from Government, health authorities and the sport’s governing bodies. The General Manager will announce such changes as appropriate.

Social distancing means keeping space between yourself and other people outside your household, maintaining a safe distance, not gathering in groups, staying out of crowded places and avoiding mass gatherings. These social distancing measures have been put in place as a means of minimising contact.
