The Inglenook Hotel and Restaurant is situated a mile from the sea and close to the city of Chichester. This 16th century Grade 2 listed hotel, restaurant and free house has been run by the Honour family for over 40 years. Inside, you'll find cosy bars with inglenook fireplaces and an attractive restaurant - opening onto a delightful garden and patio area - serving a la carte, homemade special menus, seafood and seasonal specialities, also a large selection of bar snacks that can be enjoyed in our garden room, any of the bars, or on fine days outside on our comfortable patio. The guest bedrooms are charming and individually furnished, offering B&B and special breaks - all have en-suite facilites, wi-fi and flat screen TV's. Some have four-poster beds and spa baths and a whirlpool in the bridal suite. Weddings, parties, conferences and functions are catered for.

No Smoking Law
Smoking is not permitted anywhere within the building. A smoke House is available at the back of the Hotel.
Anyone who smokes in the bedrooms will be charged a deep cleaning fee of £100.00.
Access
Our Hotel is 400 years old in places and we suggest guests with walking difficulties should speak to reception before visiting so they can be advised as to the best route into the Hotel depending on which area they are visiting.
We also have 2 ground floor bedrooms if needed.

Please contact reception and we will try to accommodate any early check ins and late check outs.
Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement. Only one large dog per room. No dogs are allowed in superior rooms.
Clients will be responsible for any damage caused to the Hotel or its Properties during their stay.
Please be advised occasionally we host Private and Public Functions and certain rooms may experience disturbances from Musical Entertainment. We respect the needs of both our Residents and Hotel Guests and have a strict 12:00am finish policy. Please contact reception for any information.

Credit Card details will be taken to hold your reservation and on arrival guests will be asked to pay for their accommodation and any extras can be settled on departure.
On occasion deposit will be taken at the time of booking. When 4 or more rooms are booked, £25.00 per room deposit will be taken.
All Major Credit Cards are accepted.
The hotel reserves the right to use the guests Credit Card details to deduct from them any unpaid outstanding balance i.e Room Charges, Deep Cleaning of the Bedrooms, Damage Charges.

If you need to cancel your reservation, 48 hours’ notice is required before the arrival date. If you cancel in the 48 hours before arrival, you will be charged for the first night.
