WELCOME TO HILLSIDE HOUSE BED AND BREAKFAST
Welcome to one of the premier lodging accommodations in Friday Harbor on San Juan Island, Washington. Hillside House is a traditional bed & breakfast where the owners live in their home and share it with travelers. As a traditional B&B, breakfast is included in your stay and we try to make it one of the highlights of your visit. Our home has lovely common areas where you may enjoy breakfast & afternoon refreshments. You may spot bald eagles, foxes or deer on our Living Green landscaped property. Hillside House has been hosting travelers since 1989.
Hillside House Bed & Breakfast is a 4,000 square foot contemporary inn. Our home features spacious common areas, wonderful partial views of the entrance to Friday Harbor, landscaped gardens, a quiet neighborhood location, and easy walking to shops, galleries, museums, and restaurants. Hillside House has a Three Diamond Rating from AAA, the highest rating a bed & breakfast can earn.
Hillside House offers seven guest rooms, each with a king or queen bed and private bath. We serve a full, hot, buffet-style breakfast each morning. A guest refrigerator and ice are available in our dining room. Free, lighted off-street parking and a covered bicycle parking area are on the property. Our delicious Banana Chocolate Chip Cookies await our guests each afternoon.
Hillside House Bed & Breakfast is located approximately 90 miles north of Seattle and 90 miles south of Vancouver, B.C., Canada. San Juan Island is a short ferry ride or charter flight from Seattle, Bellingham, the Olympic Pennisula of Washington, Victoria or Vancouver, B.C.

ATTENTION: MANDATORY FACE COVERINGS REQUIRED INDOORS AGAIN as of August 13, 2021 until further notice. Both my guests' and my family's health are of upmost importance to us and there will be zero exceptions to this rule while staying in our home.
If it is necessary to clean, repair, or replace linens, bedding, draperies, bathrobes, or other items in my guest room(s) due to smoking, candles, massage oils, or other reasons, I understand that my credit card will be charged in full for all costs incurred. I understand that the standard cleaning fee if a guest smokes inside the bed & breakfast is $250 plus actual damages.

PAYMENT: 100% of the total stay will be charged within 3 weeks prior to arrival. Payment, in full, will be due prior to arrival.
NO REFUNDS within 14 days of arrival. We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover credit cards, and cash. No Amex and no Personal Checks. Accommodations are guaranteed with a valid credit card number, address, security code, and zip code.

1) NO REFUNDS within 14 days of arrival. We do not offer any refunds, for any reason, no exceptions, within 14 days of arrival.
2) There is no charge or fee for cancellations made at least 15 days prior to your arrival day and you will receive a full refund.
Please contact us by telephone if you are going to cancel your stay. We do not accept cancellation requests by email. If you made a reservation online through Booking.com, Expedia.com, or one of their subsidiaries, you will need to cancel directly on the website through which you made the booking.
- Shortened stays, missed nights, and no-shows are not refundable.
- Groups of 6 or more people require a 30-day cancellation notice.
