Eastside Guesthouse
Eastside Guesthouse is centrally located in downtown Bishop, CA, but with our green space, creek, pond, and patios you’ll have no problem escaping the hustle and bustle of Main Street. We’re walking distance from the park, grocery store, bakeries, and many restaurants. Most importantly, this relaxed, family friendly guesthouse is close to countless outdoor adventures, including climbing, bouldering, hiking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, fishing, off roading, and much more.
You can rent a bunk with a shared bathroom, private family room with private bathroom, private room with private bathroom, or an apartment at Eastside Guesthouse. There is WiFi access in our common area, which also includes a cooking area, fireplace, and comfortable couches. You can enjoy mountain views on one of our several patios or deck space.
We want people to know all that Bishop has to offer. We welcome all travelers to stay at our guesthouse, and special care has been taken to maximize the experience of those who come to explore the mountains, lakes, and rivers that surround our town.

Due to the Corona-virus pandemic we will be renting out entire bunk rooms to individuals and or groups traveling together for the foreseeable future. If you are the only person staying in the room rate is listed. Additional people are $20 each.

Terms & Conditions
Check-in after 3:00 p.m.
If you arrive when our office is closed (after 10 pm) we will leave a note on the office door with your check in instructions.
We are a non-smoking property for reasons of health, safety and comfort for all of our guests. Guests who violate the policy and smoke on premises are subject to a minimum $400.00 charge for returning the room to smoke-free status and agree to being charged by accepting this policy. We appreciate your understanding.
Free parking is available to all our overnight guests.
We reserve the right to charge for any damage to or removal of items from the premises and/or unusual cleaning.
All photo shoots and filming are subject to advance approval by the owners. At least seven days advance written notice required prior to any personal or professional photo shoots. No closed door filming allowed. Additional fees apply.
Items left behind and requested to be mailed will incur the postage and handling fees and may take up to 30 days to receive. We apologize for any inconvenience. To avoid this, please be sure to thoroughly check your room for items that are of value to you prior to your departure.
Damaged or missing items from rooms post check out will be charged to your security deposit on file. These include but are not limited to linens, pillows, mugs, room key, books, etc., Please inquire if you have any questions or concerns about this policy.
Payment Policy
Taxes will be added to your bill when you pay for your room. Direct reservations will be charged upon check-in, all other channels (e.g. booking.com, etc.) require full payment in advance. A valid ID must be presented at time of check in along with the credit card used to reserve online. No cash is accepted for the security deposit.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel, we want to work with you. If you cancel a week or more in advance you will receive a full refund.
If you are unable to cancel a full week in advance, we will gladly give you a refund IF we are able to re-book your room or bed.
Please be sure to acquire trip insurance in the event of unexpected illness, death or weather related emergencies as we are not able to make an exception to this policy.
Additional policies apply to group reservations of three or more rooms.
All cancellations must be provided to the our staff in writing. You will receive any refund due within 30 days.
