Meadowlark Lake Lodge is located on the scenic byway between Yellowstone National Park and Mount Rushmore. Meadowlark Lake Lodge is 47 miles west of Buffalo Wyoming and 20 miles east of Ten Sleep Wyoming. Situated in the Bighorn National Forest, Meadowlark Lake Lodge offers a wide variety of mountain activities including hiking, fly fishing, wildlife viewing and photography.

The Lake Lodge sits along beautiful Meadowlark Lake offering some of the best trout fishing on the mountain year round. You can purchase you daily or annual fishing license at Meadowlark Lake Lodge. Guest WIFI is in main lodge only. There is no cell service on the mountain once you leave Ten Sleep or Buffalo.

Meadowlark Lake Lodge restaurant and bar closes November and April of each year. Over night accommodations are available during those times, communication is needed via email to confirm lodging needs.

Meadowlark Lake Lodge is operated under special use permit issued by the USDA Forest Service.

Terms & Conditions

* All rates are subject to change without notice
* Smoking is prohibited in all property buildings. Smoking in rooms will result in a cleaning fee at a rate of $300 per unit. Campfires are to be attended at all times and out dead out when finished. Subject to fine if fire is left unattended or not properly put out. Use existing fire rings, do not make new rings or move existing rings. HUNTERS ---- No cutting up of game on property
* Please enjoy your stay, any damages to a room is the responsibility of the occupant and replacement/repair cost will be billed to the occupant. No moving furniture
* Clean linens and towels provided 1st day.
* A 12% state and resort fee is applied to payment upon booking.
* Pets are to be registered and a $15 pet fee . Pets to be leased while on property. A $100 pet cleaning fee will be charged for excessive hair or hair on comforters. Pets are to stay off of the furniture.
* The Lodges support a pack in pack out motto. Garbage is limited to the garbage receptacle in the booked room. Excessive garbage purchased
outside of the Lodge or brought to the property is to be packed out at time of departure, or an excessive garbage fee will be assessed accordingly
by management.
* The restaurant, bar and snacks for purchase area is open from 8am to 8 pm 7 days/week in the summer months, 8am-6pm Friday Saturday Sunday in the winter months. No cooking in rooms
* Lodge hours are 8 am - 8 pm in summer months and 8 am-6 pm in winter months, if you will need a late arrival, please call ahead or communicate via email to make arrangements. Meadowlark lake lodge is on national forest and there is no cell phone coverage, please be sure to communicate in Ten Sleep or Buffalo before continuing up the mountain to the Lake lodge.

No refunds on any cabins, motels, duplexes or house rentals.
