Terms & Conditions

We look forward to your stay at Desert Hot Springs Inn. We are a small, boutique, all-natural mineral springs hotel, with limited office hours. Our office hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and office telephone number is 760-600-0246.

**How to Check-in**
We have a contactless check-in process that allows you access to your room without personally checking-in at our front desk! The day before your arrival date, we will send a text to the phone number of record for your reservation. This text will come from the phone number (760) 368-6216, which IS NOT our office phone number. If we do not have your cell phone number in your reservation details, please contact us with it so that we may provide for you a quick and easy self-check-in process.

Please fill out the pre-registration information at the link as quickly as possible after it’s texted to you. Please be aware that after 5 PM, the desk is not staffed, and there will be no one to assist you personally. Pre-registration information will not be processed if sent to us after 5 PM on your arrival date.

If we obtain everything we need via this process, the check-in instructions will be texted along with your access codes.

After you pre-register and receive your check-in instructions and access codes, you are free to access your room at any time after 4 PM on your scheduled check-in date.

Early check-ins are not available without prior arrangements.

**Additional Information**
Some guest rooms are located on the second floor. There is no elevator and no bellhop. Please pack accordingly.

Free parking is available to all our guests in the front of our hotel.

Please be sure to check the room carefully upon departure for personal belongings. Additional fees will apply if we have to mail your items to you after your stay.

Our office telephone number is 760-600-0246. We are able to receive text messages at this number.

House rules:
*No smoking of any type inside or near the entrance of rooms.
*Pets must be on a leash and under your control at all times, except for the designated dog run area. No dogs in pool waters, please.
*Noise level must be controlled and suitable for all guests. No amplified music.

Things to Note:
*Desert summers are hot, even with ac on full blast it may feel warm during peak hours.
*This is indeed the desert, so bugs like gnats and water bugs are not uncommon. We have routine pest control, but during warmer months we see more activity.

Payment Policy

CREDIT AUTHORIZATION: For regular bookings, we require a credit card to hold your reservation. On the day of your reservation, we will typically validate your card. This temporary validation may appear on your online statement as a pending charge of $1. We do not collect any funds at this time. The pending charge will disappear after a day or two. Up to 3 days before your arrival date, per our cancellation policy, we reserve the right to run an authorization on your card for the full amount of the booking. This is an authorization only, not a charge. An authorization on your credit card validates the card and verifies that funds are available to cover the entire booking charge. The authorization will place a pending hold on those funds. We typically settle the transaction on the day of your departure. If you decide to use a different payment method on departure, we can cancel the authorization on the original card on file.

Cancellation Policy

CANCELATION POLICY: If you need to cancel your reservation, please do so at least 3 days in advance of your arrival day. We charge an advanced booking fee of 50% of the total room reservation if the reservation is canceled less than 3 days before your arrival date.
