Darroch Learg has been run by the Franks family for over 60 years. It is located in the village of Ballater in the Cairngorms National Park and stands in a sunny position in wooded grounds on the slopes of Craigendarroch. Darroch Learg boasts wonderful views across the valley of the River Dee to the hills around Glen Muick. Darroch Learg Hotel is non-smoking and we do not allow smoking in any of our bedrooms or public areas.
We do not allow dogs in the bedrooms, with the exception of guide dogs.
Check in is from 3pm until 10pm.
Check out is by 11am.
Payment Policy
Payment to be made at the hotel upon checkout.
Cancellation Policy
-Bookings can be cancelled two weeks in advance of 3pm earliest arrival time for no charge.
-Bookings cancelled within two weeks of 3pm earliest arrival time will be charged for the first night.
-Bookings cancelled within one day of 3pm earliest arrival time of will be charged the full amount.
We will try to re-let your room and where we are successful we will not charge you any cancellation costs.
