Cougar Ridge
Cougar Ridge is nestled in a secluded valley with spectacular views and is just minutes from Torrey and Capitol Reef National Park. The Casitas at Cougar Ridge offer our travelers a short-term stay option with a one-night minimum. These, like the Lodge, were constructed with the highest quality materials and craftsmanship for 5-star quality and a “down home” feel. Each Casita features one room with a king-sized bed and a second room with two queen-sized beds. Several of the queen rooms have a bunk bed option that will sleep, one additional person. Each Casita also offers a kitchenette, a living room area with a TV, and a deck with a Traeger grill. The Casitas at Cougar Ridge are the highest quality, best value accommodations in the Capitol Reef area.
Casitas 6 & 7 are pet-friendly with an additional charge of $50 per pet per night.
Please note that this is a ranch property with animals from dogs and cats to horses and cows on site. Casitas 1 through 5 are pet free, but the decks are open to roaming wild and domestic animals and ranch pets.

Terms & Conditions
CASITA RENTALS
Check-in is after 4 PM, check-out is at 10 AM. All rooms are non-smoking. Guests who violate the non-smoking policy will incur a minimum cleaning charge of $400.00. By making the reservation, guest authorizes this cleaning charge to be added to his/her credit card. Guest also authorizes his/her credit card to be charged for the repair cost for any damage to guest’s room or any damage guest causes to Cougar Ridge property.
Dogs are welcome in Casitas 6 & 7 with prior notification and $50 cleaning fee per night per pet added to the room charge.
All reservations require a one-night deposit at the time of booking.
We will collect a valid Credit Card at the time of check-in for all incidentals.
We have the right to refuse service to any guest.
LODGE RENTALS
Check-in and check-out times are based on your reservation and will be determined at the time of booking. The Lodge and all rooms are non-smoking. Guests who violate the non-smoking policy will incur a minimum cleaning charge of $400.00. By making the reservation, guest authorizes this cleaning charge to be added to his/her credit card. Guest also authorizes his/her credit card to be charged for the repair cost for any damage to guest’s room, the Lodge, or any damage guest causes to Cougar Ridge property.
Dogs are welcome in specified rooms and areas with prior notification and $50 cleaning fee per night per pet added to the room charge. Dogs are NOT allowed inside the Lodge.
We have the right to refuse service to any guest.
GUARANTEE POLICY
A valid credit card is required to confirm your reservation and upon check-in. One night will be charged at the time of booking.
ADDITIONAL GUEST POLICY
Lodge – Guests checking in with more than 8 persons will be charged an additional $100 per guest up to a maximum of 12 total guests.
Casitas – Maximum 6 person occupancy in standard Casitas and Maximum 8 person occupancy in the Bunk Casitas.

We accept all credit cards except discover.
We charge a fee for American Express cards.
We will collect a valid Credit Card at the time of check-in for all incidentals.
Cancellation Policy
CASITA RENTALS
All reservations of Casitas at Cougar Ridge require a non-refundable credit card deposit for the first night for each Casita. If the reservation is canceled 3 days prior to arrival date, Cougar Ridge will cancel the reservation for the remainder of the stay but will keep the non-refundable deposit for the first night for each room.
LODGE RENTALS
All reservations of the Lodge and Master Suites at Cougar Ridge Ranch require a non-refundable credit card deposit of 50% of the full reservation amount at the time of booking. If the reservation is canceled more than 45 days prior to the arrival date, the deposit will be returned. After that time, the deposit becomes non-refundable.
