2021 Minimum Night Stay Information:

From Memorial Weekend through Labor Day weekend, ALL cottages have a 3 night minimum. (7 night minimums on 4 units June 20- Aug. 16, see below.)

June 20 - August 16, 2021

Pine 2BR, Redbud 1 BR, Sassafras 1 BR, and the Boathouse 3 BR will have a 7 night minimum Saturday-Saturday only. 

Check-In time: 3:00 PM.....Check out time 10:00 AM

Additional Overnight Guests: $10 per night per person. Children arriving before their 6th birthday are free (limit 2 free per unit).

Pets:
We love pets; however pets are NOT allowed in the Cottages at Fair Haven Cove. Should a pet be discovered in the room, you will be billed a $250 cleaning and deodorizing fee.
Pets are allowed for those staying at the RV parking area ONLY. Only friendly, non-aggressive pets are welcome. Pets must be kept on a leash. Clean up after your pet. Pets are not to be left unattended. All pets must have current vaccinations. Failure to clean up after pets will result in a $250.00 charge.

Please follow the clean-up procedures listed on the front of the refrigerators prior to check-out, this helps us be able to provide the wonderful amenities and service for a reasonable price. Failure to remove trash, wash dirty dishes, and leave the cottages in good condition will result in a minimum cleaning fee of $25.00. Damage to any furnishings will result in additional charges to cover the cost of replacement.

No Smoking Policy:
Guests that choose to ignore our no smoking policy in the cottages will be billed a $250 cleaning and deodorizing fee.

Please be aware that The Cottages at Fair Haven Cove has taken reasonable steps and precautions to assure your safety while staying with us. In using our property, however, you do so at your own risk.

This Release & Waiver of Liability is binding upon initial deposit payment, thereby indicating that you agree to release and hold harmless The Cottages at Fair Haven Cove, its owners, agents, and other guests from any liability. This Release and Waiver of Liability shall not apply to any claims arising from the negligence of The Cottages at Fair Haven Cove, its owners or agents.

Release & Waiver of Liability

I (hereinafter the Guest) hereby irrevocably & unconditionally waive and release & hold harmless from liability The Cottages at Fair Haven Cove, its owners, agents, and other guests (all four hereinafter known as Releases) from any & all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs, or expenses of any nature whatsoever whether in law or equity, known or unknown, occurring during, caused by, relating to, or arising in any way from participation at The Cottages at Fair Haven Cove.

Guest also understands that attending a facility in the country may involve voluntary participation in physical activities both indoors and outdoors, and certain exposure to wildlife and walks, steps, paths, and roads that are uneven. With these, and all related activities, there is a certain element of risk. By accepting this waiver, Guest hereby acknowledge that participation and use of facilities and grounds are at Guest’s own risk, and that Guest assumes all responsibilities for any and all aspects of participation by both Guest and any children who might accompany Guest. Guest understands that a swimming pool, firepit, playground, kayaks, and boat docks are provided as available activities and the proper use is required. This waiver applies to any and all activities, named and unnamed herein, which are voluntarily participated in by guests and family members & visitors of guests at The Cottages at Fair Haven Cove.

The Guest understands that there are special risks involved in the use of swimming pools and boat docks. Guest is aware there are potential dangers to children who are not carefully supervised, as well as any person utilizing the swimming pool if a person has health risks, is intoxicated or using any kind of drugs or medication. Guest agrees to waive any claim whatsoever against The Cottages at Fair Haven Cove, its Agent, Owners or other guests of property for accidents or injury arising from use of the swimming pool, boat docks, playground, firepit, and resort grounds. Guest agrees that he/she is responsible and liable for any damages that occur to the swimming pool, resort grounds, guest quarters, or boat docks through them or their guest's misuse or negligence.

Guest also understand that this Release & Waiver of Liability irrevocably and unconditionally releases and holds harmless all Releases from any financial or other liability for any injury, bodily harm, sickness, illness, or loss of life that I as a Guest or my family member or friend may suffer and from any economic harm or loss of property occurring during, caused by, relating to, or arising in any way out of staying at The Cottages at Fair Haven Cove.

I have read this Release & Waiver of Liability and understand all of its terms; I have executed it voluntarily, with full knowledge of its significance, and intend to be legally bound by it. I understand that each child here with me who is under 18 years of age is my responsibility while at The Cottages at Fair Haven Cove.

Payment Policy

Deposit Policy:
All reservations will require a deposit equal to a one night stay at the time of booking. Balance is due upon arrival.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy:
PEAK SEASON RESERVATIONS (May 22-Sept 7): Cancellations received 60 or more days prior to stay, your deposit will be refunded less a 20% service fee. Cancellations received within 60 days of your stay, you will forfeit your one night deposit. Cancellations made within 30 days prior to your stay, will forfeit 100% of the total nights booked unless the room is re-booked by another guest. There will be NO refund for early departures. Balance due upon arrival for all nights reserved. A 90 cancellation policy may be applied to large groups.  

OFF PEAK SEASON RESERVATIONS (September 8-May 21) 72 hours prior to check-in time on arrival date for a refund of deposit less a 20% service fee. 
No refunds will be made if reservation is canceled/changed within 72 hours of check-in time on arrival date.
