Terms & Conditions

The following are the key points of our Terms & Conditions. In accepting these conditions you do so on behalf of all members staying with you in our apartments. Our full Terms & Conditions are available on request.

Key points

Restrictions

Guests are expected to behave in a reasonable manner and to allow fellow guests to enjoy peacefully the surrounding environment.

We do not accept stag or hen parties. If you book accommodation and we later discover that you are part of a stag or hen party we reserve the right to cancel your reservation and ask you to leave the premises immediately. No refund will be given.

We reserve the right not to accept multiple apartment bookings at our discretion. We will not allow all male parties unless pre agreed with the management.

We operate a strict no party policy. Any guests who do not comply with this policy will be asked to find alternative accommodation and Clearly Apartments reserves the right to cancel their booking with immediate effect and without refund. Non Clearly Apartments guests will not be allowed access to the apartments after 11pm.

Should any guests(s) or their visitors cause a disturbance to others in the same building, resulting in that person(s) having to visit the apartment to complain, then Clearly Apartments reserves the right to charge the guest up to £50. This charge will be debited from the credit card of the person who booked the accommodation and they will be informed in writing within 48 hours of the incident taking place or making the deduction from their card (whichever is the later).

Quiet Hours:

Mon-Fri: 22.30hrs – 8.00hrs
Sat-Sun: 23.00hrs – 9.00hrs

No Smoking Policy

Clearly Apartments operates a strict no smoking policy on all its sites. Any additional cleaning required to remove smoke odour will be charged to the guest who made the booking.This will be taken from the credit card used to make the booking.

Check in

We use self check in and you will be sent your instructions the day prior to arrival via email or on your booking app.
Keys are provided to guests on check in using key boxes.

Damage

Prior to your stay the credit card of the person booking the apartment will be pre authorised for an amount of £100 per apartment booked. Charges for damage will be made against this pre authorisation initially.

Guests will be liable to pay any amount required to repair or replace items or equipment that may be damaged or lost as a direct result of the guest’s occupation of the apartment. This will be deducted from the credit card used to make the booking and the guest will be informed.

Cleaning

Clearly Apartments expects the apartments to be left in a reasonable state of tidiness when guests have departed. If, at our discretion, we feel additional cleaning is required, the cost of this cleaning will be charged at £25 per hour with a minimum of one hour to be charged. This will be deducted from the credit card used to make the booking and the guest will be informed.

Keys

Keys are provided to guests on check in. If guests wish to check in outside our published opening times they must inform us and we will send them key collection instructions via email.
Clearly Apartments will issue the guest with a set of keys. If the issued keys are not returned to our representative (or into the key box) on departure, a charge of £50 will be made to the guest who made the booking and deducted from their credit card.

Check-out

If there is any delay in vacating the apartment beyond the agreed time without prior consent from Clearly Apartments, a rate of £25 per hour will be charged to the Client for each hour the Client stays beyond the normal departure time of 10.00hrs. This will be deucted from the credit card of the guest who made the booking and the guest will be informed.

Call outs

If between the hours of 19.00hrs and 8.00hrs a guest locks themselves out of the property and/or the apartment and requires assistance to re-enter the property and/or the apartment, Clearly Apartments reserves the right to charge £50 call out charge in addition to the charge for lost keys. Lost keys will incur a charge of £50 per set. This will be deucted from the credit card of the guest who made the booking and the guest will be informed.

Minimum stay lengths

A minimum stay of 2 nights applies to the following stays:

Any Friday or Saturday
Any Bank Holidays
Any York Horse Racing Dates

Payment Policy

Payment/Cancellation

For Standard Bookings no payment is taken on booking. These bookings become non cancellable 14 days prior to the date of arrival. Clearly Apartments can take full payment at any point after the booking becomes non cancellable using the payment details used to secure the booking.

For Advanced Purchase & Longer Stay bookings full payment will be taken at the time of booking. These bookings are non cancellable from the point of booking.

Cancellation Policy

Standard bookings can be cancelled up to 14 days prior to arrival.

Advanced Purchase & Longer Stay bookings are non cancellable from the point of booking.
