The Circus, built between 1754 and 1768 is a masterpiece of John Wood the Elder, with tiers of Doric, Ionic and Corinthian columns and intriguing carved emblems, topped with noble stone acorn finials. You can admire it all in detail from the comfort of the living room.
This contemporary apartment, in a warm palate of chocolate, plum and biscuit throughout, has undergone several transformations in its lifetime yet has retained all its period charm. The large living and dining room with sash windows overlooking two aspects of The Circus has two French style velvet sofas by a decorative fireplace. There is a TV with Blue Ray DVD and a separate radio with I-pod docking.
The neat fitted period kitchen has an electric hob and oven, a microwave, a large fridge/freezer, a dishwasher and a washing machine.
