Terms & Conditions
Our guests are responsible for reading and agreeing to all Terms and Conditions prior to arrival. The Carriage House Inn is glad to answer any questions related to check-in/out, cancellation policies, directions, room types, rates, breakfast (including allergies, dietary restrictions). Our goal is to ensure each guest has a comfortable and enjoyable stay!
Check-In Time: 3 pm AST (If an earlier check-in time is required, please contact the office). Your hosts or staff will check you in, show you a map of the city and points of interest (and our recommendations for dinner!) and bring you to your room.
For guests checking in after 9 pm: An envelope with room location and breakfast times and a key will be left in the mailbox beside the front door. Unless otherwise noted, someone will be at the Inn to help with luggage, etc.
Check-Out Time: 11 am AST (If a later check-out time is preferred, please contact the office for availability).
Our guests share the Inn with a quiet private home, but the two are kept separate. The Innkeeper's family lives onsite and is available to answer any questions.
Breakfast times are set for 7:30 am until 9:00 am from Monday to Friday, and 8:00 am until 9:30 on weekends and holidays. These times accommodate both early risers and those who wish to sleep in a little. For anyone leaving earlier than the set breakfast times, please contact the office to request a "to-go" breakfast.
LOST & FOUND: The Carriage House Inn keeps a box of items left behind. Upon request, we can courier the items (at the guests' expense). Please note that all items are either discarded or donated after thirty (30) days.
*****Please read the location and details of your room carefully when booking. The Superior Queen & Family room and one of the Traditional rooms has private washrooms designated for that room only (private, not shared), but located across the hall. These rooms include a tub, and the guest room itself is more spacious! Rooms are automatically assigned so please let us know if you have a preference; we do our absolute best to fit each guest with the ideal room!**
This old Victorian mansion does not have an elevator, but the friendly Innkeepers will assist with luggage! We recommend packing light (or bringing in an overnight bag) and leave the steamer trunks at home!
Payment Policy
All rooms booked directly through this web site are payable upon arrival to the Property.
Guests arriving after 9 pm may pay the next morning.
The Carriage House Inn does not take a deposit or process credit cards in advance of the stay (unless otherwise noted), but arrangements such as prepaid bookings can be discussed with the Property's office prior to arrival.
Cancellation Policy
The Carriage House Inn requires a 48-hour (before arrival) cancellation period.
Reservations that are not canceled within 48 hours are subject to a charge of one night's stay plus tax.
