Set in downtown Bella Coola near the Bella Coola River & Estuary, the Cumbrian Inn is a friendly & affordable hotel with clean rooms and basic amenities. We offer visitors to the Bella Coola Valley the ability to optimize their experience of unmatched natural beauty in territory that has been home to the Nuxalk Nation for more than 10,000 years.
Our guests explore the area’s rich history through interpretive guides from the Nuxalk Nation, dine on fresh crabs, wild mushrooms & hand-picked fiddleheads, and meet the unique local characters who live in our community. They hike through ancient cedar forests to remote waterfalls, celebrate paintings & carvings by local artists, and view bears and eagles in untamed habitats. The adventurous choose to explore the inlet or Tweedsmuir Park, access the coastal mountains by helicopter, and hire fishing boats to catch Tyee salmon.
The Inn’s central location enables guests to easily walk to any of Bella Coola’s restaurants, shops, galleries and parks. Welcome to the Great Bear Rainforest!

All rooms are non-smoking / non-vaping, and the burning of scented candles or incense is forbidden. Cooking / preparation of food inside hotel rooms is prohibited. No Pets. ($200 Cleaning Fee).
Excessive noise which bothers other guests, or rude behaviour exhibited towards staff will result in immediate eviction without refund. Damage & Repairs to hotel rooms, contents or property will be charged back to the guest's credit card, along with an additional $100.00 Surcharge.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations without penalty may be made up to 72 hours in advance of arrival without charge. Guests that cancel within 72 hours or are a No Show are subject to charges for the first night of the booking.
