Terms and Conditions for Armada Cottages

CONFIRMATION OF BOOKING
1.The Payment and Cancellation Policy are available below
2 . ARRIVAL & CHECK IN PROCEDURES. Please ensure you contact our supervisor to arrange check in, you will receive the contact details and instructions for this by email a few days prior to arrival. Check-in is after 4pm, Check-out is no later than 10am. We request that these times be adhered to. In the event that you need a late check in please contact the supervisor in advance.
Check In will be on site at your cottage. A box is located near the front door of each cottage. Prior to your arrival you will receive the combination lock to access the lock box where you will find your cottage key. Therefor you will have immediate access to your cottage. The cottage supervisor Orfhlaith will check In on you during your stay, but should you have any issues prior to this you will have her number to contact.
3 COTS/HIGHCHAIRS. We can provide a cot, we do need advance notice to arrange set up and for which room. There is a high chair in every cottage.
4 PETS. Pets are not permitted in the Armada Cottages. We respectfully ask that you do not contact us seeking permission for pets to stay as we cannot facilitate.
5 CLEANING & BED LINEN. The house must be left clean and tidy, otherwise a cleaning charge of €50.00 will be applied. Initial bed linen and towels are supplied. Should you require extra a charge will be applied.
6 UTILITY CHARGES. Electricity Charges are included in our rates *Fair Usage Policy: This applies to Electricity usage over each 24 hour period. The agreed rates per 24 hour periods are based on fair usage which allows 10 units of electricity per 24 hour period. Excess of these usages are charged as follows: € 0.20 per unit. Please note in general usage is not in excess of these allowances.
7 EQUIPMENT AND MAINTENANCE. In the unlikely event that any equipment or furniture in a property breaks or malfunctions due to unforeseen circumstances, it may take up to 48 hours for it to be fixed or replaced. However we will do our best to rectify any issues that may arise as quickly and efficiently as possible.
8 RIGHT TO DECLINE. We reserve the right to refuse, alter or cancel a booking, even after receipt of part or final payment. In addition, the company is relieved of all liability should reserved accommodation not be available due to circumstances beyond our control. In such an instance alternative arrangements will be made in similar accommodation, or a full refund will be offered. However, no refund or liability will apply to a situation where a client is requested to vacate, or leaves of their own accord, prior to the expiration of their booking. The Armada Cottages will not accommodate hen/stag parties, and should a booking of this nature be made, the armada cottages reserves the right to refuse this party on arrival and withhold any monies paid.
9 BEHAVIOR. Please note the following as it’s important that we consider and take responsibility for all guests staying with us at Armada Cottages. We reserve the right to refuse to hand over any cottage to any person who, in the opinion of the management, is not suitable to take charge. Likewise, rental of the cottage may be terminated with no refund at the discretion of the supervisor or any officer of the company if clients/occupiers behave in a disruptive manner, cause a nuisance or disturbance, endanger the safety or wellbeing of other clients in the complex or that of the client themselves, cause damage to the property or in any other circumstances deemed reasonable by the supervisor or any officer of the company. On the expiry or other termination of rental, the supervisor or any officer of the company may remove all belongings of the clients from the cottage left on the property and store or otherwise deal with same as deemed appropriate. Notwithstanding the aforesaid, the sole risk in respect of such belongings shall at all times remain with the clients.
10 ACCOMMODATION CAPACITY. The number of persons advertised as being the sleeping capacity for the property must not be exceeded under any circumstances and clients will be asked to leave if this is exceeded.
11 SMOKING. Smoking is not permitted in any of our cottages. Failure to abide by this will result in a cleaning charge of €50.00 for the provision of specialised cleaning services that will be required.
12 LIABILITY. Armada Cottages, its employees or agents are not responsible for any loss of valuables or property left in the home or on site during the stay or on departure. It is important to take good care of valuables when staying. We have all standard insurances in place within the cottages, but these insurances do not cover the loss or damage of any personal belongings taken into the houses by holidaymakers.
13 GROUP BOOKINGS. Armada Cottages do not accept bookings from groups of parties under the age of 25, hens or stag parties. We reserve the right to refuse to check-in such groups and will not refund any monies paid in advance in the event of non-disclosure of the age of the occupants.
14 ADVANCED BOOKINGS. At present we only accept bookings up to 1.01.2023. we do not accept bookings after this date. please contact armada cottages should you have any queries on advanced bookings.

Payment Policy

Upon making a reservation, guests will be charged a deposit of 20%,
the remaining amount is due 30 days prior to arrival , this will be deducted from the card details supplied.. If you wish to use an alternative card for the balance payment please contact us before payment is due.
Deposits are refundable in full up to 30 days prior to arrival.
The balance is due at 30 days prior to arrival. payments are non refundable after this date,
however we will do a date change up to 2 weeks prior to arrival.
A guest can transfer payments made to an alternative date, only up to 2 weeks prior to arrival, after
This the payments are non refundable and non transferable.
If you make a reservation within 30 days of arrival, full payment is due.
The remaining balance will be processed after you have made the reservation.

Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATION BY CUSTOMER. –
Guests may cancel and get a full deposit refund up to 30 days prior to arrival. After this date the balance payment is due and the total amount is then non refundable. should guests need to cancel after 30 days, we can do a date change. A guests can transfer any payments made to an alternative date. this can only be done up to 2 weeks prior to arrival. After this date the deposit is non transferable.
*COVID CANCELLATIONS: All payments will be refunded in full should travel restrictions be in place, preventing a guest from travelling outside of their county. if level 5 restrictions are in place or any restrictions resulting in the business being closed, a full refund will be issued.
