Terms & Conditions

Thank you for booking your holiday with Adhurst.

Coronavirus - If Adhurst are told to close due to government directed lock-down we will refund your holiday. You may also wish to purchase travel insurance to cover your holiday in the UK. Both AXA and LV offer cancellation cover if you catch Covid-19 or are told to self-isolate. We can not refund your holiday if there is no lock-down. If you are told to self-isolate then insurance is a good idea.

Please do not bring confetti or chlorine sprays. The confetti cannot just be hoovered from the forest floor and chlorine bleach will destroy the canvas of our yurts. We will bill for damages caused by sprays and there is a £500 fine for confetti/bb gun pellets. Do not even THINK about bringing these things.

Adhurst Yurts only handle bookings from persons over 18 years of age. We reserve the right, at all times - without statement of reasons - to refuse a booking.

A booking is confirmed on receipt of full payment or a 25% non-refundable deposit. Deposits can only be taken if a booking has a check-in date of more than 10 weeks away. For all bookings that have a check in date of less than 10 weeks before check-in, payment for the booking will be required in full and the entire booking will be non-refundable. Both balance and deposit are non-refundable. Please ensure you have travel insurance.

Where a deposit has been paid, full balance payment will be due 10 weeks in advance of your check-in date and a reminder will be sent to you two weeks prior to this date by email. We automatically take the balance payment using the same card as used to make the deposit payment. It is your responsibility to advise us if we should use a different card and to contact us by telephone (07789 954476) to arrange for alternative payment method.

Changes and Cancellations - Any cancellation or amendment request must be sent to us by email and will be considered and responded to within one working day of receipt. We will always try to help but we cannot guarantee that such requests will be met.

Pets - It is the responsibility of the pet owner to request permission to bring a pet to Adhurst. Each request is dealt with individually and so far none have been denied. However if we believe other guests on the same dates will be adversely affected by your pet we might not allow it to come. All pets must be kept on a lead when in the area of sheep or horses. Clear mess as a dog's diet means their poo contains contaminants not normally present in a woodland habitat.

Tents - It is not permitted to bring tents to Adhurst under any circumstances. If additional accommodation is needed for a Whole Site Booking we have Nuthatch 1 and Nuthatch 2 available. They are bell tents.

Smoking and Beebee Guns - Please do not smoke cigarettes in our yurts! Do not use beebee guns of any description on site. If we find pellets we will come look for you and make you pick up every single one. We also will enforce a £500 fine for littering with confetti or beebee gun pellets. It can take years to collect every last day-glo pellet or bit of sparkle off the forest floor.

Day Visitors - We do not accept Day Visitors. We also do not allow outside visitors at all in the evenings. This is done to ensure that guests enjoy the site at its proper capacity. If a day guest is Pre-arranged they must never drive onto the yurt site. This must be discussed before you arrive for your holiday.

Events - If you are booking an event involving all the yurts and cabin or outside guests you will need to ensure this is clear before booking. Rates vary and will need to factor in catering, parking arrangements, sanitation arrangements, any temporary structures, rubbish clearance and flowers and electricity rental and lighting. Our events are always low-key and kind to the habitat. We do not permit outside contractors except in special circumstances and at our discretion.

Fishing - Please see our Wild Fly Fishing Syndicate information. Fishing incurs an extra charge. Only really suitable for experienced anglers.
Fishing is catch and release, by fly only, fished upstream, with dry flies and nymphs permitted, maximum size 10 standard barbless hook.
Lures are not permitted. Wading is allowed at Members risk. All fish must be returned to the river unharmed.

Pricing and Information - Adhurst Yurts reserve the right to amend advertised prices at any time. We also reserve the right to correct errors in both advertised and confirmed prices. Information on our website or the Canopy and Stars website might have changed by the time you come to make your booking. Generally any changes are in fact improvements. Although we make every possible effort to ensure all information is up to date occasionally errors can occur.

Force Majeure - Force Majeure on the side of Adhurst Yurts exists if the implementation of the agreement is entirely or partially, temporarily or permanently, prevented due to circumstances which are beyond the control of Adhurst Yurts, including threat of war, strikes, blockades, pandemics, fire, floods and other disruptions or events. It is always advisable to have your own Holiday Insurance.

Assumption of Risks - Remember that you will be camping in the outdoors with live animals and other natural hazards, such as rabbit holes. The wood burner will get hot and if touched could burn. Whilst we take great care to keep guests safe accidents can happen and Adhurst Yurts are not responsible for such accidents (to the greatest extent permitted by law). It is your responsibility to supervise any children. If you notice that any equipment looks faulty and/or unsafe you must inform us as soon as possible.

We advise anyone to take out travel insurance against the risk of accidents and/or your stay being cut short.

Payment Policy

Payment in full within 10 weeks of arrival. We process the remaining balance automatically if we have your card details on file. Cards accepted or BACS to Adhurst Yurts Sort Code 20-67-49 Acct 43732436.

25% deposit can be arranged if it is over 10 weeks before arrival date. All payments are non-refundable.

Cancellation Policy

It is advisable to take out holiday insurance in the event of having to cancel a booking. Ensure your travel insurance cover trips within the UK.
